Utility Vehicles
To
those unfamiliar with the term “utility vehicle,” it’s most commonly described
as a small, truck-like off-road vehicle designed to carry two people, plus a
payload of cargo. It’s also easy to maneuver in places normally too confined for
full-sized trucks.
The MULE utility vehicle’s versatility stems from its thorough design. While
other brands often utilize “parts-bin” engineering to design and assemble their
utility vehicles, Kawasaki engineers design each model of the MULE as a unique,
integrated unit. It is purpose-built, with special emphasis placed on
reliability, durability, operator comfort and customization.
Kawasaki also offers an expansive line of
accessories through its dealer network, including trailers, trailer hitches, bed
liners, windshields, fully enclosed cabs, winches and snowplows. Plus,
camouflage body coverings and gun boots are available.
For 2004, there are four models from which to
choose:

MULE 3010 Diesel 4x4 – Kawasaki’s flagship
utility vehicle features a three-cylinder diesel engine, selectable four-wheel
drive, automatic transmission and tilting steel cargo bed. If you need diesel
power for heavy duty hauling and towing, Kawasaki is the only brand that offers
a fully suspended, off-road utility vehicle.
MULE 3010 4x4
– This hard-working MULE features an industrial four-stroke V-twin engine,
selectable four-wheel drive, automatic transmission and tilting cargo bed. It’s
available in Hunter Green, Aztec Red and all-new REALTREE™ Hardwoods® Green HD™
camouflage. Also MULE 3010 Camo
MULE 3000 –
This two-wheel drive MULE features the same engine, transmission and rock-solid
reliability as the MULE 3010 4x4, but at a lower purchase price.
MULE 550 –
Like its bigger siblings, the smallest MULE features a bench seat, automatic
transmission, tilting cargo bed and dual-mode rear differential, but the MULE
550 can fit in the bed of a full-sized pickup.
